MMD Philips to Show 32″ 8k Monitor at IFA 2017

MMD (a subsidiary company of Philips) is slated to show off its 8k monitor at IFA 2017 this September.

The monitor will feature an “elegant frameless design” and a 7680×4320 resolution. Little else is know about the display, but we’ll update here once more is announced.

As 4K moves more into the mainstream, Philips monitors with higher resolution are now on the horizon: 8K. The future 8K UHD resolution has twice the horizontal and vertical resolution of 4K UHD, with four times as many pixels in total. Visitors can experience the precision of 8K first hand: on show will be an 8K 32-inch display, which also features an elegant frameless design on all four sides to create an immersive viewing experience.

Other special items which will grab the attention of the seasoned designer, photographer or CAD user are the 31,5” 4K professional display with HDR and USB-C docking and the 31,5” QHD display with Adobe RGB color range and USB-docking functionality.
